Coach leather goods have been popular for decades and with Stuart Vevers at the helm, the company has rapidly evolved from an accessories brand to a full-fledged modern luxury fashion house. A sense of youthfulness and fun runs through all of his work and is exactly what was needed to re-establish the brand as a fashion powerhouse. The past two seasons, in particular, have my heart, featuring tons of vintage-inspired pieces, NASA logos and patchwork from the limited edition "Coach Space" collection, and the Rexy dinosaur mascot. I mean, whats not to love? The F/W collection features dark colour palettes, loads of leather accents, studs and tassles, making it the brands most experimental and ambitious yet. I can't wait to see what Vevers has in store for next season.
This is the first of a three part series, and to start off, I decided to go with the Coach Mercer bag. With its classic design and shimmery textured leather, the Mercer was an easy choice. The star rivets and studs only add to its charm. I paired it with this gorgeous high-low Samatvam top, a pair of Levis and nude heels. What do you think of this look? 🙃
