I was invited to an experiential last week at the newly opened Jean Claude Biguine salon located at The Club, Andheri. It's a compact little spot just by the pool and is open to non-members as well.
I've had boring long hair since forever and was looking to get some of it chopped off and styled differently. What better way to kickstart the new year than with a fresh new haircut, right?
After being introduced to the lovely Creative Artist Natasha, who was going to work her magic on my hair, we went on to talk about my hair care needs and why I need to stop getting my hair straightened, stat! Well, we'll see about that! :P She also took me through the products she'd be using on my hair before starting off with a super relaxing hair wash.
Then came the scary part- chopping around 3-4 inches off. Actually, come to think of it, it wasn't all that scary. I was more afraid of my mom's reaction than anything else. Moms, I tell you! -_- She then went on to blow dry my hair after spraying it with copious amounts of Sebastian Re-shaper.
Now comes the fun part. We wanted to do something visibly different, since it was a hair makeover after all, so we opted for tight, springy curls at the bottom which would make my hair look even shorter. Very 70's, if you ask me!
All this with a flat iron, btw. Wait, whaaat?! What kind of black magic sorcery is this?! Such talent, though!

My hair is back to normal now and the length and cut is just perfect as you'll see in my new posts. Thank you, Natasha and the Jean Claude Biguine team! Ya'll are swell! Xx
