Tigi BedHead For Lakmé Fashion Week 2016

Being one of the official bloggers for TIGI Bed Head provided me with a chance to cover all of the backstage madness on Day 5 of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort’16. Day 5 witnessed dazzling couture from some of the best designers in town – Garo, Dhruv Vaish, Urvashi Joneja, Neeta Lulla and the finale show by Rohit Bal. TIGI Bed Head, the official hairstyling partner for Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort’16 crafted some of the most trendsetting hairstyles for the shows synonymous to the Bed Head image. TIGI Hair Experts created classic and bold hairstyles which complemented the ensemble created by the designers. They created low buns, the samurai look and sleek low ponytails for models strutting the ramp. Below are step-by-step instructions on how you can achieve these looks at home -

1. GARO | Dhruv Vaish | Urvashi Joneja - Garo's 'FEMMES di TAHITI' collection was inspired by native Tahitian prints, colors and motifs. Keeping his aesthetics clean, youthful and easy-to-wear, Dhruv Vaish showcased his collection - ‘A Hippie at Heart’ which was created to address the wearer’s alter-ego. Urvashi Joneja's ‘Vapor’ collection was extremely stylish and personified elegance. The low bun created by TIGI Hair Experts seamlessly blended with each designer’s collection. Here’s how you can achieve this chic look -

The Textured Low Bun:

  • First, shampoo and condition your hair with TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Resurrection Level 3 Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Towel dry your hair
  • Spray TIGI Bed Head Superstar Queen For A Day Thickening Hairspray to the roots of your hair
  • For the length of the hair spray TIGI Bed Head Sugar Shock to add texture

2. Neeta Lulla - Neeta Lulla’s collection ‘She is Me’ crafted to celebrate womanhood sizzled the ramp.
