Lateralus

I've been meaning to collaborate with my friend Jennifer (who recently launched her own label Sew What! *yay free clothes*) for weeks but somehow, something always got in the way. We finally managed to get together in the wee hours of the morning and shoot a few pics. I'll be wearing a few of her designs in the posts to come. For this look, I selected a pair of delicate high-waisted lace shorts from her collection and teamed it with a blazer to add some structure. I wasn't in the mood for color when it came to accessories what with it being so early in the morning and all so I stuck to wearing surprise, surprise - black. In my defense, both the shoes and the bag are gorgeous. I initially thought of doing an all white on white look but ended up wearing a grey top instead. Oops! Maybe next time?
